Hawke and Sienna?

Does anyone think that these two are destined to be mated? Is their relationship inevitable?

Personally, I hope not, just because it'll be a little too obvious in my opinion. I'm hoping Nalini will throw a huge curve ball and Hawke will mate with someone we haven't met yet and Sienna will have her own story later.

What does everyone else think?

In Branded by Fire, we learned that the X power is extremely dangerous. Not just to others, but to the Psy who has it. Its so dangerous that Sascha thinks that Cardinal X-Psys are a myth...that they couldn't possibly survive to adulthood and that even those with a moderate amount of X power usually killed themselves with their own "gifts".

So I'm wondering: How has Sienna Lauren managed to live so long?

Hello, I´m from Germany and my favorite book is Mine to Possess. I have read it so often that the book is in danger to break into loose pages. So I bought the German edition Im Feuer der Nacht. After reading I have mixed feelings. So I have a few questions for the readers who read both books, too. My impression of the translation is that it was done in a hurry. The violence scenes (Orrin) were tuned down. Some sentences seems to be translated word for word. Sometimes the content of sentences ...

So I was about to launch a locked version the Blaze of Memory spoilers forum, but then I hit a quandry...when to unlock it. Technically I can lock and unlock them anytime I want, but I think y'all would appreciate a little advanced noticed, no? ;-) At first I was planning to unlock it on November 3rd. But then I remembered that there are a lot of people who don't have bookstores just down the street and some of you are going to have to have it delivered to your Kindles or homes from Amazon ...

I recently went through a read through of the five psy-changling books and the two published short stories. In "Stroke of Enticement" ***SPOILERS*** there was mention of a psy boy who helped Annie by lifting wreckage from her leg before teleporting away. So, not only was the boy powerful with TK, but also a traveler perhaps? I was wondering if this a character we will meet again, or have already met? Vasic perhaps? Kaleb? Someone else? Someone new? I don't know what it was ...

I think Hawke is one of the Forgotten. I think that's why he knew about Empaths even before meeting Sascha. It might even be how he knew about the PsyNet. I also think that the Psy must have hunted him and his family and possibly killed his (and Riley's) parents, and that's why he hates Psy with such a passion.

Okay I have been reading Caressed by Ice and I got to the part where Brenna asked Hawke about why he hadn't taken a mate and he told her that his mate died when he was 10 and she was 5....sooo....umm how is he going to get his own book? And do Bren and Judd ever get bonded? I thought the male changeling was the one that connected the mating bond but I feel bad for her not being able to feel that.

This book came out earlier than I expected. Was anyone else disappointed in this book? It opened up several new topics and characters including the Silver blade sentinel Hamiilton mentioned and which Mercy points toward Indigo. I just felt Nalini thru out lots of info but did not tie anything tigether or explain the Human Alliance motives clearly. Am I missing something

I've been re-reading the entire series from the beginning and i've just gotten to the part in BbF where we briefly hear about the lone survivor of the mind f***. Is it just me or did anyone else want to read more about this guy? His fortitude and determination not to harm others in the face of Tatiana's compulsion was heartwarming. I want to know if he lives and if he can recover from the brutality of the attack. And, if he does i think he deserves to be 'saved' from Silence and ...

i finished reading BbF (loved it) and, of course, read the teaser for the next one - BLAZE of MEMORY.

i believe the female is Ashaya's assistant. hope so. i was saddened to think she was killed by Ming after Ashaya's defection.
also, i think she may have been rescued by Vasic.

the alternative is that she is a Trojan Horse.

any thoughts?

For me, the biggest surprise was how much SnowDancer has come to care about Sienna. The second biggest surprise is that Riley is older than Hawke.

If you were a changeling what would you turn into? If you were a psy what would your designation be? You can answer one or both or all if you want too!

If I were I changeling I would either turn into a clouded leopard or a wolf but not a bulky one a slender one. As for a psy i think I would be a Tp I have no idea why but I think that is what I would be.

Tatiana seems to think the plot to kill the Councilors may have succeeded, but she was in the meeting after the plot was foiled? did i read that right?

Somebody mentioned Sahara in the "Dev's Mate" thread and that got me thinking about her. In Visions of Heat we're told that Sahara had disappeared about five years before. The implication is that she was taken by Council. But I'm thinking that might not have been the case. I don't think the Council could have made her disappear so well that Anthony NightStar (can't remember his familiar surname) couldn't find her and I seriously doubt that he would have allowed them to hold her ...

Angels' Blood: Who's next?

So after reading Angels' Blood, who's story are you interested in hearing next? We already know that the short novella coming out later this year is on Sara and Deacon, so we can all look forward to reading their story. And the next major story picks up where this one left off with Elena and Raphael. Hopefully this can become a series similar to Psy/Changeling where we get to see the stories of all, or most of the characters. I'm really interested in Venom and I hope we can learn about his past ...
