Ahh...I didn't think about that. I just assume that as psy/high percentage of psy origins, they are more "invincible", hehe.

I love their story, infact, they're my fav couple but the story is so short, I've not even given sufficient time to enjoy them (more ! more !)

When I read this quote I just had to smile. A pair of preschoolers can't keep themselves awake at night, but people can change into animals in the blink of an eye and that is acceptable . Because the books are set in another time and sort of another world I can accept a lot of things. In this series I can accept that a pair of preschoolers can be awake all night, if I read contemporary books this cannot happen, then there would be a plot hole.

I don't have a list of favorite books, I have lots of favorite scenes in every book. Since I keep rereading all the books and they all look well read, I can't say what my favorite is. Most of the time it's the one that just got published, because it gives new information. And then I have to read the others again to see if I didn't miss anything.

Actually yeah, I do consider that a plot hole. Nalini established early on that Psy need sleep as much as regular, real world people do.

Oh Katherine, so so sorry about your cat!

As for the plot hole, my thought was that since both Noor & Keenan did what they did instinctively, it seemed entirely plausible that they could have both instinctively gone into a trance state, considering the complexity of the "pattern" that Noor would have had to "weave." That's actually what assumed they'd done when I read the scene.

I mean, in VoH, when the M-Psy check because Faith hasn't eaten in 3 days, Faith knows that if she'd been in a trance, the M-Psy would have put her on an IV drip (to keep her hydrated and give her nutrition), but they then would then have "left her to it." So maybe some abilities like Foresight and "weaving" can mean someone is in a trance state for a good long while. And since Keenan was working in tandem with Noor, it would make sense that they could both go into some kind of trance. Just some thoughts...

Stroke of Enticement will always be extra special, since that one got me hooked

1. Slave to Sensation (the book that got me hooked!)
2. Hostage to Pleasure (surprising plot twists and major sexual tension)
3. Caressed by Ice (dominant male psy + no-easy-pushover wolf changeling = fantastic story and chemistry!)
4. Branded by Fire (mr & mrs smith, only changeling, and therefore so much more awesome!)
5. Visions of Heat (fantastic combination of sensitive psy female and raw, dominant changeling male)
6. Mine to Possess (c'mon, it's like they were mated from childhood!)
7. Blaze of Memory (an interesting insight into the world of the Forgotten...oh, and I got to meet Tai & Tiara - still hoping for a novella for them!)

Loved all of them but I really, really have a slight preference for Branded by Fire and Caressed by Ice with Slave to Sensation very close ... and this last one, Bonds of Justice coming also close ... and I also love the two short stories with Emmett and Zach ...

and I can't wait for the next book about Indigo and Drew ... just love those wolves ...

This is really a difficult question, because I like all books by Nalini very much. If I really have to choose (?!)...*hmmm*...maybe like this...

yep ... this is more or less my opinion too ... I would only put Bonds of Justice before Blaze of Memory ...
