Who do you think we will see in the second arc?

I have noticed that in the past couple of Psy/Changling books we have seen a more minor characters than before. I think this is because Nalini is setting things up for the second arc by introducing the characters whose stories will be told.

So the point of this thread is to list who you think will be getting their own books next time around.

My guesses:
Andre Tulane and Amberleigh Bouvier (from BoJ)
The pair of Forgotten telepaths from Blaze of Memory
The truck driver that Katya hitched a ride.

Who else?

I was thinking about that not too long ago,and I think the ones that will get their own book It will be:

Walker Lauren
Lara (SD healer, and Nalini mentioned)
Jaime,Mia,Nikki,Cori,Nico,Tai,... (the juveniles)
The ghost (whoever he is!)
Anthony
Mercy's Brothers
Zara
John
Kit

......There are a lot of interesting characters to write about

Walker.

Lara.

Kaleb.

These are like most probables.

• Kid!!! (The first story arc began with an alpha, the second story arc maybe begins with the former future alpha? Could be quite elegant!)

• perhaps Mercy's Brothers (just funny )

• John (so much potential for a really breathtaking story)

• Walker Lauren (*awww* *sigh*)

I'm not sure if these are the most probable or logical choices.
...but I long for them the most after reading books 1 to 8 of the first story arc. I liked the last two books very much, but I really got hooked long before and love stories which are "pack centered" and the Lauren family in general.

Ok, call me a forgetful idiot, but who is John?

Oh, and my guesses are:

Walker

Kaleb

Anthony

Lara (& Nalini did mention her specifically)

Bastien (I think Sage & Gray are too immature, but maybe not by the time the books get written)

and, duh, just remembered who Jon (Jonquil) is, & he'd be nice (again, too young yet, but maybe not by then)

Kit (He has some growing up to do too)


And I don't know of anyone else who I think we know well enough to be able to guess, but maybe there'll be some more people by the end of Play of Passion and Kiss of Snow. Maybe one of the doc's (Conor?) in BoM.

i'd also like to know what happened to Samuel Rain, the psy who resisted the compulsion and tried to kill himself in BbF, though i don't think his would necessarily be a full story. even just an aside (hopefully the kids could heal him???)

Hmmm.... I've been expecting KALEB's story the most... others, Walker, Lara, Kit and Tai

I expect: Walker Lauren, Lara (SD Healer), The Ghost, Kaleb, Tag and Tiara( The Forgotten Telepaths),Anthony.

Walker & Lauren (but Nalini mentioned it would sth like a short story)

Adam (wing leader of the falcon) -> switch gear and tell us more about the falcon colony/nest

the Ghost

Kaleb (who i think is the ghost)

Amnesa (the twin - no good/bad in her...very interesting to see who she falls for)

Kit (for sure...but will be a long time wait)

I think that in this arc the action has been centered in the changeling world. Even when there was a human or Psy the world was changeling, with the exception of BoM and BoJ which seemed to me to be bridges or transitions to moving the base of the action into the pys world. The changelings and all the characters we love will still be very much a part of the story but the "world" we are exposed to most will be the pys world, a world possibly broken and splintered into separate factions, even many different smaller nets by the apocalypse coming to San Francisco in KoS. My theory anyways

Also I think it's possible that once the Laurens are exposed as a family group that many Psy will form "clans" similar to the structure of a pack. It makes me wonder that if at one point in forgotten Psy history that there were smaller clan nets and that gradually over time they combined into the massive world wide Psy net they gave now.

That's an interesting theory, and I also like your idea of this next story arc focusing a little more on the Psy, although I think we will still see a LOT about the changelings. Definitely about the WindHaven falcons. I also hope the humans end up with more of a part to play--Maybe Bowen will fix things with the Human Alliance so they can be powerful enough to be part of the action, but not crazy like whoever it was before him (that guy who wanted to take over the world, although Tatiana was mind controlling him, so maybe that wasn't all his idea).

That makes sense. This might even explain why they were going insane in such large numbers prior to Silence. Maybe their net had become too large and this size was affecting everybody's mental health.

Sort of like living in a large city with bad sanitation. Sooner or later everybody starts getting sick.

Id love to see KITs book too but since he's not really old enough and its only been 1 1/2yrs passed so far i think its going to be a long wait for it to happen

Sahara is Faith's cousin and she's a missing person. She went missing when she was 16 about 5 years before Visions of Heat was written. A lot of people think Kaleb might be looking for her since the time frame of the person he is looking for matches up (I believe). Faith asks Sascha a question in VOH, saying something like "Do you think the Council is holding other F-Psy (such as Sahara) hostage?

And yeah, I hope Walker and Lara's book comes soon & is a given. Kit would be nice.....I'm wondering if Nalini will pair up Lucy (Brenna's friend) with anyone. And Kaleb/Sahara would be neat if that's the case (unless we are reading way too much into that info. in VOH).
