I just wanted to blame…er, I mean thank you ladies for sharing the tidbits from the book. I was so excited to finally read Hawke but then reading through this thread drove me crazy! I had to have it, so I broke down and bought someone’s ARC on eBay for an embarrassing amount of money. Then…it just sat in my house for about a month. Between college and a brand new baby, I had no time to read. So, here I am, finally I have read Kiss of Snow three times. I LOVED IT!!!

I was desperate to see how it all works out and get to read the whole scenes behind the quotes. I’m happy to say that all the things that you all and other reviewers made me worry over weren’t so bad. KoS wasn’t anything like I imagined, but it was at times a hundred times better. I wish Walker and Lara could have had their own novella like Nate and Tammy, but it was woven into the story enough that it needed to be part of this story. I really liked Sienna and her power was pretty amazing. Hawke was as Alpha as I expected him to be and whatever lack I found in him the end made up for it a million times over, I could literally reread the last couple pages over and over again. Sure this book could have easily had another 100 pages, but that doesn’t mean the story was deficient. I wanted more of what I like to call the “missing scenes”, there was a lot that happened off the page that I wished we could have read. I hope Nalini might write some of those and post them on her website. I have million more things I'd love to chat about, can't wait for everyone to read it!

Honestly, if I wasn’t a huge fan of the series and just a casual reader I would probably give the book a B maybe a B+ because of a few issues. But, I am a huge fan, have been looking forward to reading about Hawke since his first appearance on page, and am emotionally invested in the characters. I would give it a solid A. Which opinion you think matters more I guess would depend on you being a big fan too.

And now I leave you with my favorite phrase from the whole book…

“Judd-freaking-scary-Lauren”

Thanks for the review, Jane. Believe me, there were times when I wanted to buy an ARC off eBay because I simply couldn't wait anymore. Only 17 more days!
