Tangle of Need: Forum Read

It's soon going to be here, and I thought we should maybe read it together? I'd like to do that. We could always do something like quote the scene we're reading right now with the pagenumber and say what we're thinking so far.

I would love to do that. The time zone factor? Several of you are in Europe. Are you getting it via hardcover or e-reader? You might get it a bit early if it's hardcover and it ships early.

I'll get mine via kindle likely at 9:00 pm the night before the release as I'm on the west coast of the U.S. and that means it will be 12:00 am release day on the east coast. which is when kindle downloads new releases. Hope that makes sense.

I will just be too fast the first time reading, to post anything. LOL

I inhale 400 pages in like 4 hours.

I'm going to try and go slow and savor it. Stretch it out a bit. If I can. Who am I trying to kid here lol?

I think we should just post something when we read it, and as I said before, just say which page we're on right then. (Or which location/percent) and then add the rest in a [.spoiler] ?

I'm getting the kindle. I think I'll manage to pause for breaks and make a post or two. I just hope I don't give in to the temptation of jumping scenes, intent on devouring the parts about Hawke and Sienna.

Patricia, I like the idea. Maybe a separate Tangle Group Read thread?

I thought we'd do it exactly here in this one. I'm only a Mod, not an Admin, so I can only create Topics not Threads. You could send Katherine a PM and ask her if she'd create a Thread for TON, though, and a Child-Thread for the Group-Read.

What would everyone else like to do?

I don't mind keeping it in this thread either really, or I can send Katherine an email to create a group read thread opening that last week in May.

I think I'd like either. I mean a TON Thread in general would be good bc it seems to be the aftermath/game-changer sort of book and all and we could just move all the TON related topics there.. I could ask her myself, though. I'm just horrible when it comes to emails. XD

Not sure. I asked her to open a Tangle thread and a sub-thread for the group read so I will email her again.

I think she is keeping it locked with the intent of opening it at release, it is what she did for the others too, if I remember correctly.

I did e-mail her to ask so we'll see. Either way, it's fine I guess. It's easy to find the Tangle topic in the Psy-Changeling thread but might be nice for new people to just see the Tangle thread pop up immediately on the home page.

Katherine emailed me back and said she will un-lock it and add a sub-topic for a Tangle Group Read.
