what if it WAS one of Raphael's that killed Eris

Post by paranormalmama on Sat May 19, 2012 7:04 am

Up until now Raphael's people have been innocent or framed....what if this time it is one of his h has to punish? Will Elena overstep her bounds with her human heart and try to intefere...what if Rahpahel goes quiet again for som reason...

H is in love but I think we need a reminder that Raphael still has his edge lol!

Not thaaat likely. Eris is under high protection, so it would have been someone with power. Those with power are loyal to Raphael.
But if it were a group of 'weaker' people who just had a real good plan.. I don't think he'd go Quiet over such a thing. Sure, he'd punish them, and Elena would probably think that it's horrible that he *has* to do that, but that's it. She understands the politics, as far as I can see.

I thought the same Pat....I thin k she would understand, maybe change the punishment, like she did with this burying thing, but she would understand and he wouldn´t go quiet ´cause he has Elena to hold him and these people that killed Eris wouldn´t be too important to him .... if that makes somehow sense...in my head and in German it makes perfectly sense, this translating is so confusing Embarassed Very Happy

(You think things first in German, than in English?)

I know what you're talking about. Hey, the thing is.. Why did he go Quiet last time? Did he go quiet when he had to punish this one poor dude? Not really. He had to talk to whatsherface, right? Not? I'm confused.

If it was one of Rapheal's people he would know...and Jason would MOST DEFINITELY know. But to answer the question of why Raph went quiet, it was to speak with Liuan in the first book...which is why he won't change the scar on his wing, it reminds him what can happen when he does go quiet, so he chooses not to.

No, I mean, what exactly made him Quiet? Did he have to use so much power that it drained him and that resulted in a Quiet Raphael? Was the process, this ONE process - Talking to Liuan over such an distance - what triggered the Quiet?

Yeah I was wondering that too? Like what certain powers and why made him go Quiet ? Also, can regular angels go Quiet ??

It is a form of meditation that basically stuffs all emotion into a box with a padlock on it...if you think about the equivalent of a Vulcan who is on a power trip of godlike powers...that is an archangel in quiet.

Right, I do not think Quiet s as much a choice as much as it is a reaction to great stress, trauma or something like that. He didn't say he would never go quiet again, he only told her the need would have to be very great.

By His people, I do not mean one of his 7, I meant someone from his territory, he has some scary angels he lords over. I agree that probably not (it being of of Raphael's) but it was just a hmmm moment I was having.

paranormalmama - I was aware that you meant his people and not his seven, but I think he has them under control and few of them are powerful enough while not being loyal to do such a thing. As I've said, if there was a group of 'weaker' vamps or angels who want to backstab him, maybe, but.. Hm, well, with Raphael's mom in the picture, all bets are off, I suppose.
