OK, I have absolutely no idea what that means LOL!!!! You aren't happy about Jason's book being next?

I'm very happy. Someone said on the German publisher's facebook page that they had heard that the next installmend would be about Raphael and Elena again. I almost choked, because I did not like that. But Jason? YAY all the way.

Oh, good. I'm glad it's Jason too. I wouldn't have minded Illium or Venom either but it may be too soon for either of them. Venom is one scary guy. With Dmitri, he was basically angry scary but Venom is freaky scary. With Jason, she has kind of a blank slate. I sure hope he has a worthy h.

If not, I'll just burn the book and put the video online..

I'm so happy! I think some people wanted Illium, but I much prefer our favorite spymaster instead. I don't know why, but the thought of someone so silently intense and private like Jason is ridiculously appealing (*cough* Judd *cough*). I wonder if the heroine is going to be someone more outgoing and daring, I would love to see Jason all bamboozled when falling love for the first time. He might even smile from time to time

As long as it's someone 'new' I'm happy. : )

Hello, just joined the forum and before last week I had never heard of this series. But since buying a Kindle I figured I would try something new and after reading the first chapter of Angel's Blood, I ordered all four books immediately. And although I've had them for less than a week, I've read the first three completely and am almost halfway through Dmitri's book!

I am absolutely stoked that Jason is getting his own book. I had read somewhere that NS would not give each member of the seven his own book but I'm thinking she should reconsider it. As much as I loved reading Elena/Raphael I sort of feel the Seven stole the show at several points. Generally when they are involved there is some kind of action about to go down and I actually found that more appealing that the romance at times.

I feel these stories haven't got their fair share of attention despite them being best sellers. The genre doesn't even have a category on fanfiction.net, what's up with that?

What do we know about Princess Mahiya, angel or vampire?

Well, if she's a princess, could she be Neha's daughter? (Or was it Neha's daughter who was killed by Raphael/Elena back in Archangel's Kiss? I can't remember.)

Yes, Neha's daughter Anoushka was killed in the second book. I also read I think in the third book that Neha had been visiting her consort more perhaps to have another child. If someone killed her consort then I'm guessing that would upset her since she wasn't finished with him yet, so to speak. I'm trying to figure out what's the significance of having Jason there, it's not like Neha and Raphael are friends. Unless she's threatening all out war with everyone until they find out who murdered her boy toy.

Well, if he was Neha's consort, he must have been important to her and it will be interesting to learn more about him and their relationship. Being named consort is a really big deal and I think there were only 3 archangels that had them (Raphael, Elijah and Neha).

I do wonder about the significance of the princess title for Mahiya (that name is going to drive me a little crazy though).

Well, Raphael almost didn't remember Neha had a consort when he was telling Elena of the few Cadre of Ten that had them. I guess no one had seen Neha's consort in perhaps centuries. And even in the description of the new book it states he was found dead in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison. Neha basically didn't let this guy out much, if that was love I have to wonder how he felt about it.

Definitely not a healthy relationship for sure. Poor guy. Neha was quite a piece of work from what I remember too. I am really curious about why they'd bring in Jason like you said, considering that it was Raphael/Elena who was responsible for Neha's daughter's death.

If I remember...in Dimitri's book, the big bad enemy was a vampire who worked for Neha. Which is why Jason was sent to ferret out any info on him...Oh, and her consort was mentioned and his house was used in Archangel's Blade too.

I'd forgotten that. Thanks for the refresher! I read Archangel's Blade maybe twice but remember mostly the relationship between Dmitri and Hope/Ingrede. I may have to do a re-read before Jason's book comes out.

Oh poo. I was hoping for someone differen't for Jason. But I guess a Princess will have to do. *sigh*

Despite that, I love Jason...including the cover...and I know Nalini will make this book rock! I wonder whose gonna be next though...?

Eris wasn't really a consort,remember. Raphael had said he had been a pet.
Maybe the princess is an adopted child of Neha's

An adopted child is an interesting idea. Could be that Neha arranges her court in a hierarchy that contains herself at the top with "princes" and "princesses" right beneath her. Or, it could be that the character is an actual human princess maybe? But that wouldn't work since look what happened to poor Illium when he got involved with a human.
