Sahara

Somebody mentioned Sahara in the "Dev's Mate" thread and that got me thinking about her. In Visions of Heat we're told that Sahara had disappeared about five years before. The implication is that she was taken by Council. But I'm thinking that might not have been the case. I don't think the Council could have made her disappear so well that Anthony NightStar (can't remember his familiar surname) couldn't find her and I seriously doubt that he would have allowed them to hold her hostage. So maybe he hid her away.

My theory is that there's a third PsyNet, set up by the rebels, which acts as a sanctuary to those the Council hunt.

Thoughts? Opinions?

It is possible, especially if Anthony is the Ghost (which is my suspicion).

Actually, I'm almost positive he isn't. Because, if I recall, he got an email from the Ghost and was surprised about it.

I think Vasic (the Arrow who took Ashaya to the Center) is the Ghost.

When did he get the e-mail? I am not remembering that part. I thought it was one of the Cousel members who got the e-mail. Also, remember that Anthony hinted to Vaughn and Faith in Visions of Heat that he was a part of the resistance.

Oh he's definitely part of the resistance. That was more than confirmed in Hostage to Pleasure. I think that was when he got the email.

Katherine, you are right about the ghost e-mailing Anthony...but I don't think the ghost is with the rebels either...because Anthony is one of the circle that is basically the head of the rebelion. The ghost is an outside party who is acting alone for the most part.

I think Anthony heads up a cell and he's certainly one of the most powerful members of the rebellion, but I seriously doubt he knows every member. That would be very, very dangerous. Because if he was found out the whole thing would be screwed.

Maybe he's a neutral party, pretending to be on one side, but helping out the other--without actually supporting their cause either.

I have been thinking he could be the ghost...but after reading his thoughts on where he sees himself and his relationship with the Dark Mind I am second guessing my idea of him as ghost material. By the way...when are we going to find out how he is able to speak to the Dark Mind anyway

I don't know who the Ghost is, too many possibilities, but I remember reading :somewhere: in a Q&A Nalini did, I think, where she said we'd definitely find out more about Sahara. I don't remember where Nalini said that though, so I guess I'd better look it up.

Is it possible Sahara was not kidnapped but instead hidden by the rebels somehow? Seems like it would be good to have an F-Psy to help you if you're rebelling against the Psy Council, & she might have done that willingly (I hate to think she's been held prisoner all this time.)
