Slave to Sensation reissue
Nalini announced the new cover for the reissue of Slave to Sensation. I like how this guy now reflects how Lucas is described in the book itself. Check out the green eyes!

I always thought Lucas was darker and had more of a yellow tone. I have no idea why I had such specific ideas about Lucas of all people.

I am very sure, Lucas SHOULD be darker.
But then, I only realized Clay was black when Nalini basically told it to my face, because shocking: for some odd reason, no matter the characters skin color: the cover is white.
Which pisses me off big time.

Yes, same here. With Clay, I was actually really.. ashamed, I guess. In the book, Tally tells him she doesn't like "dark" men, so that should have been a clue, but I just whitewashed him. Given my being biracial, I know how crappy that is, so that day I was just sullenly sitting on my bed and felt stupid about trusting bookcovers, or about just assuming that the default is white.
