Yep. His backstory will be explained fully in his book for sure (there might be a few bits in Indigo's book as well).

Speaking of Hawke...what is the significance of the painting on the wall? Hawke seemed very protective of them in StS, and they were mentioned again in BbF? Are we going to find out who painted them?

I just want to say how much I enjoy your Psy/Changeling series. Every book has been great. In reading Mercy's story I am getting the feeling that you might make Hawke's mate, Sienna. I know my opinion may not count for much, but I have to say that I would not enjoy that combination. I feel like Sienna is way too young for Hawke, he strikes me as being around 30-32ish and she is not ready for him. I'd rather see Sienna form a relationship with Kit, possibly even a new pack separate from Snowdancer's or DarkRiver's pack. So if you haven't made your decision yet, I can tell you that if you matched up Hawke and Sienna I would not buy that book.

Which means that he is either Indigo's mate (which I doubt) or his is the tenth book. :-(

I can say without a doubt, that if Sienna is Hawke's mate that you will have tons of people flocking to buy the book. ;-)

How it comes that Hawke knows about the E-psys in StS? It seems he is the only one who knows besides the council!

I was saying in the thread on my blog that everyone has such different likes/dislikes - a writer can never please everyone. So we have to go with our gut and hope readers come along for the ride!
