it would be fascinating if she and Zaid had something going. i would guess that if they did it would have happened during her captivity since she obviously didn't know him before.

i would also believe that it was the possibility of a relationship rather than a full blown love affair and he gave her up for the 'good' of Silence.

i'm on tenterhooks to know what her story is.

i'm also rooting for Vasic (poor baby).

And Zaid is dead. As in really dead. Nalini said so. Though I really like the idea of Alice and Zaid.

I just can't wrap my head around Alice as a heroine though, mostly because she is bald and prune like right now. That's probably not fair but it's how I see her.

But, yes to Vasic surviving and finding happiness like Judd has!!

I'm with Lulu I can't see Alice as a heroine yet because of how she's described.. I also can't help thinking of her as old even though she's been frozen.
I want a changeling to be Vasic's heroine, someone really fun that'll just confuse and ruffle Vasic..maybe someone like Rina?? or that wolf girl that got in a fight with Sienna at the beginning of KoS. I definitely don't want the heroine to be all delicate and submissive.

I think she was only around 30 or 32. So young and certainly age range for a h. I just am not all that interested in reading about her as other than a secondary character, though I feel like she's being set up as a h.

Why not both? Sascha could help Vasic the way she did Dorian and Brenna and give his h something to work with. Right now Vasic is within an inch of throwing himself off a cliff.

Vasic and Alice? I don't know. As palestblue said, they are both so broken. And, honestly, I hope Alice doesn't become a lead character in this arc. She needs time to heal and recover her mind. There are only 2 or 3 books left in this arc and I can't really see her with Aden or Kaleb either.
