Interesting question. I'm going to go with Kaleb and Sahara for a Psy/Psy pairing. This way Kaleb is still in the PsyNet and can use his amazing abilities to help hold it (and the Dark Mind) together.

I'm actually hoping it's a forgotten...we haven't seen them in forever...or maybe even the Cats...haven't seen them either.

I'm kinda hoping Nalini has forgotten about the Forgotten. Of all the books in the series Dev's is the one I liked the least. Not only did it feel like genuine filler but the group was remarkably boring.

If we don't see them again for the rest of the series I will be quite happy.

I think the Forgotten had a role to play and they've likely played it. It made sense that before Silence there would have been humans and changelings with Psy blood because of inter-marriage/mating so Nalini explored in Hostage and Blaze the ramifications on their descendents.

Of course, the Forgotten have their own super messy psychic net, which might serve to help the Psy re-work their own in some way so maybe they'll pop up again in the conclusion to the arc.

My thoughts in your mouth.
Dev was incredibly boring, all dominant going ... you know like Hawke and Lucas. But he kinda isn't as sexy and ... alphalike. He just pretends to be an animal or maybe he thinks he is one but it makes Hawkie and Luke look like the steretype-male.
Not good.

i'm a fan of Dev and believe he, Sophia and the Forgotten have a major role to play in the coming conflict.

The real stars for me in Dev's book are the kids, William Keenan and Noor.
Anyway, I just want an Arrow book next, doesn't matter who, I want another CbI.

I'm missing the Cat too!! Wanted to see more of Roman and Julian. So cute.

In view of the latest book, look like it more Wolves time. If that's the case I wanted to read about Jem and Alexie. Wanted to know how he got that black eye.

I hope it's Alexei he featured a little more in ToN so maybe that was building up to his book. Especially as he's now at the den for a month.

It could equally be Alice. Although I'm not so keen on this idea for some reason.

I for one hope not. Even though it's an explosive combination.

Vasic; hot, leathal and had a death wish combine with a missing alledgealy death or broken F psy does not make happy reading. Too serious. They both need to have some fun and lots of tender loving. The kind a Cat, Wolves, Falcons or even water-base channelling can provide!

Hey all. I just recently asked Nalini about when she'll be announcing the next psy/changeling book and this is the response I received:

Never. Mwahahaha... Just kidding ;-) It'll be with the cover reveal - can't say exactly when yet, but likely toward the end of the year.

..so looks like us eager fans have a bit of a wait yet. I personally hope the next book is Kaleb and his quarry

Its gotta be a pretty high profile pair or else it wouldn't be such a secret.

I wonder if the cover reveal shows something that just SCREAMS "this is the new protagonist." like.. I don't know.. an arrow. Or a charm. *g

I've participated in these Q & A sessions with other authors and it works really well. People post their questions throughout the day and the author drops in and answers them throughout the day as well so the thread is continuously being updated. Having access to Nalini for 9 hours is going to be great! So, get your questions ready!

So, at that marathon Q & A session, basically Nalini said she wasn't ready to announce who the next Psy-Changeling book is about. It'll happen in a couple of months when the cover is ready. Not a big surprise. She has finished the first draft of the book and is doing a hard edit of it right now.

Some interesting tidbits that were revealed:
1. She sees 1,500 - 2,000 people living in the SD den, though more in the wider den territory.
2. She may write some novellas or free short stories about Jem/Kenji or some of the other, earlier couples like Dorian/Ashaya, Max/Sophia, etc. Jem and Kenji were apparently definitely outed as a couple when she mentioned that.
3. Which archangels control which sections of the planet. There is a list now that she corrected/updated for accuracy.
4. The GH series takes place in present day.
5. There will be a Psy-Psy pairing.
6. Lisette isn't ever coming back to make trouble.
7. Adria also never considered her own potential mate out there waiting for her as "she isn't the kind of woman who would ever think to compare the man she adores, with someone who might or might not exist." That kind of implies that not everyone has a mate out there.
8. She's finished the novellas and the first draft of PC #12.
9. Ria is still pregnant. It hasn't yet been 9 months since Play of Passion in the timeline. (That surprised me a bit since I thought a bit more time had passed between PoP and KoS but apparently not.)
10. She does have specific birthdates for her major characters but didn't have the time to go and look them up and post them.
11. Alphas are never born close together in the same pack.
12. She is contracted through book 8 of the GH series.
