I think it may be Kaleb on the cover, just based on the hair. It's fairly short and in Tangle of Need it was noted that Vasic's hair was longer than regulation length.......

Well, we'll only have to wait another month or so. The back cover blurb will be out when Wild Invitation is released in early March per Nalini earlier today. Unless the blurb is vague. At a minimum, there should be some more clues in it.

Well the title points to it being the Ghosts book which would make sense.

The fires etc points to it being a TK - so Vasic, Kaleb, Abbott & Judd are all possibles. If this is San Fransciso burning then Vasic is the likley candidate.

All of their descriptions could match the guy in black on the cover (I think he has longer than normal regulation hair as it's mentioned by Brenna about Judds hair being longer when it's collar length).

Is the guy on the cover holding something in his right hand?

I'm kind of leaning towards Vasic being the Ghost although everything Nalini has lead us to believe thus far is pointing towards Kaleb.

Even though the Ghosts book wasn't meant to have been until last, it has to be his book, unless the Ghost and Kaleb really are two different people looking for the same person maybe...

Argh! I can't wait for this novel, only just over a month until we get the blurb though

The whole surpising twist wouldn't really make sense if it was Kaleb or ven Vasic though would it? As this wouldn't shock readers.

Ah, I thought his hair was short, although you're right about it reaching his collar. That could be considered longer than regulation length.....
Is it me or is he walking on a cable car track, and is that cable car power lines to the left....? Makes me wonder if the particular scene on the cover takes place in the distant past......

@Tabitha - lol, I was reading fast and maybe didn't catch your meaning the first time through.

Someone somewhere suggested there might be a star in the way the lights form in the sky around the buildings. I don't see it. Do any of you?

Roxsan, yes, I think those are definitely cable car tracks and lines which further points to San Francisco as the scene, though lots of cities have cable cars.

I didn't know San Francisco has cable cars! Haha, I thought those were long gone in today's world.

Oh yes, they do, its a big symbol of the city, part of their history and they are a big tourist attraction. If you go to SF, you have to ride the cable cars. One of the last in the world I think.

The city is burning. If you zoom to the right you can see a building going up in smoke. Might be Sienna's work.
The Heart of the obsidian could be the Psynet and it's heart, which would be either one or both twins. Maybe it's the ghost.
There is a railroad (help me out here, Strassenbahn) on the ground as well so it's probably in SanFransisco.

Yes, those are cable car tracks and San Francisco has one of the last cable car networks in the world, if not the last.

I just had a look at the cover and as I am from Germany I had a look at the German cover too. Have any of you seen it? There was a link in the last newsletter.

Anyway, on the cover you can see a man with a falcon tatoo. Do you think it might be Adam's book? Or do you know of someone who has a tatoo of that. I think neither Vasic nor Kaleb do, or did I miss that?

we´re not sure but don´t really think it´s a falcon book...

I hope that it is not a falcon book even though it sounds odd. I would very much look forward to a book for a TK be it Vasic or Kaleb...

yeah, hmm, I think it´s going to be, according to some of the guys here and on facebook, the last in that main story arc, so it´s possibly about some of the main characters, plus the german covers weren´t that good, I looked at them again, as we had the discussion, plus the english covers always had someone on it the book was about, really about, I think I remember the german covers to be mixed up with leopards and other cats...
but, bottom line, I don´t think it´s going to be a book about a falcon, at least not as a hero...

& having re-read Tangle of Need the end of Chapter 70 and some of the other bits definitely indicate the possibility of Vasic being the Ghost although Kaleb talks about blood on his hands which the Ghost did in a previous book and everything pre-TON pointed to it being Kaleb.

I can't wait until we get the backcover blurb on the 5th of March, I'm keen to know what will shock fans about this book and part of me thinks that this discounts Kaleb being the Ghost and this being his and Sahara's book.

I can't wait to find out more about the arrow squad and Alice's involvement with their founder.
