And thank you, Patricia and all the other Arc readers who have contributed the spoilers and reviews - it really has seemed like a long time until this book and you have kept me going!! For Kristine to commit suicide it must have been a sacrifice for something and this fits in with that thought. Have a good day, I am sure all your study will pay off brilliantly in the future!!

As much as I love Hawke, I am super excited about the Lauren family. We know so little about them. LOL, love the fact that Hawke is extra protective of his lil lady.

Yes, he's protective, because that's what he is, but he knows that she's powerfull. He knows that sometimes she is far more powerfull than he can ever be. Not in hand-to-hand-combat buuut.. Well, X-Psy.

Also he is THE Alpha. He has to keep it together. And although it's harder with Sienna, he mostly manages it.. Or, well: Sometimes?

She's more powerfull than he is. I thought that was a given. I mean, she is an X-Psy and we've already been told that she could make the den go boom. I think that is far more lethal than anything Hawke could do.

Physically he is stronger. He's a male, he's a Changeling and he's older than she is. So, of course if she didn't have her abilities she'd be toast.

Protective Hawke: So, let's just imagine something. What I'm saying now doesn't happen in the book (not this way and no, I'm not telling you what of the scenario does happen and what doesn't ;p)

Imagine X-Psy means being able to un-power the Psy. She could walk into a store and an M-Psy'd suddenly find himself to be unable to look into bodies. They wouldn't know why that happened, they'd still be connected to the Net. After her training with Sascha and Judd she's now able to controll it. Like.. If there is someone who's a telepath and an empath, she could chose which ability to .. "erase" for a certain amount of time.

And now, oh my God, there are some puppies in a forest somewhere far away. Judd could teleport her in, she could unpower the Psy, they could flee. And there is no other way, no Changeling to be able to do it as good as she can.

From where I stand, he'd let her do it...

You did very well. I somewhat like the idea of an ability to un-power the Psy. But maybe that wouldn't work out very well...but it's definitely a scenario to think about.
