Hmm so there is a man with long hair and an eagle tattoo standing looking over a bay.

The obvious choice would be Adam the alpha from Windhaven and I think Nalini has mentioned writing about him however I thought we were sticking with SD and DR for the rest of this ARC?

Of course it could be Adam and Jem or Rina's book?

The tatoo could belong to someone whose body we haven't seen yet, in which case it could be any number of changlings or maybe even a regegade psy?

So the blurb reads as follows when translated

I did just have a wild idea about the Ghost being a changeling/psy hybrid that Enrique created though....

Or that the pack/packs were somehow involved with what happened in the past, maybe way back at the start of the silence or maybe in Kaleb or Vasic or even Sahara's past?

The bay makes me think of another country or maybe the water changelings being involved.

The swirls could indicate the owner having the TK-V ability so either Kaleb or Vasic?

Is it ever mentioned how long Kalebs hair is?

The guys hair is dark and long and his skin light so not Alexei, Matthias or Kenji then... Maybe it's Tomas's book?

Maybe Tomas and a water based changeling? Alongside the continuation of Kaleb, the Ghosts and the Arrows stories then, that would also be kind of predictable though...

The titles change acording to country so that's not even a clue really.

The bay in the background looks like it could be in the UK, Ireland or New zealand.

Doesn't Shoshanna live in England? She was the one rumoured to have a pet captive f-psy (I assume it's Sahara).

SnowDancer have pack members in England so maybe it's a SnowDancer male that we haven't met yet?

I think we can safely assume from the blurb we find out who the Ghost is though....

I know the rebellion members have a gold coin each but is there a picture of an eagle on that coin maybe?

I think the bird tattoo may be symbolic as opposed to literal. It looks like a hawk and what are the characteristics of a hawk? Wiki tells me:

Even though the hawk is known for being a violent predator, the bird is actually on the peaceful side

The birds prefer a habitat that is open. Hawks usually like to habitat in places like deserts and fields.

The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline on the southern coast of the Sorrentine Peninsula in the Province of Salerno in Southern Italy. Some of the pictures look very similar to teh coast line on the German cover.
Also Venice is in Italy, so maybe there is a link to the Arrows living outside the net or the human alliance?

Someone asked Nalini whether it was Adam via Twitter (and posted her answer over at goodreads).

I just ask Nalini via Twitter, first if the hero from book #12 is Adam, based on German version cover. She answer " Would we be that obvious?"

And another poster pointed out that book covers rarely (hardly ever?) really match up with what's inside for any author.

Hopefully she wouldn't be as obvious as to put Adam on the cover, however she didn't deny it either though.

It is fun to speculate and helps pass the time.

I think Adam might make a good H one day, but he's not Kaleb or Aden or Vasic and that is who most of us are expecting to the next book to be about.

it´s kind of strange to ask if they would be so obvious and let the cover look like what´s in the book, until now, the covers always revealed the story...or not? I´m confused, I was so confused to see the cover and the title...
then someone mentioned it´s about the birds and I went crazy ...
naja, good to "know" it´s not about Adam...I´m not that interested in his story, at least not as a next book...

I've been browsing Nalini's twitter and she's said that we will probably know something about #12 early next year.

I wonder if we will get an excerpt like we usually do? This is almost as bad as waiting for Sherrilyn Kenyon's Acheron was. Maybe worse, since then we knew who at least one of the main characters was.

I think Nalini's next release will be "Wild Invitation" which is coming out in March. 2 new novellas and 2 re-released novellas. I wonder if she'll put an excerpt in the back of this book?

I wouldn't read much into the covers: the previous German covers didn't give anything away, either. The pattern on the men's bodies were actually contradicting the content, and the hair etc. didn't really match, either, if I remember correctly. I mean, maybe this is the one time they DID in fact really think about the covermodel, but I actually kinda doubt it.

Mysterious touch.. I guess I can live with the title. LOL

Patricia, how close are the German titles to the English ones? If the German title is Mysterious Touch, what do you see the English title being?

hahaha, the German titels are....not good...mostly they don´t even have something in common with the english ones...
the first one´s called in German Leopardenblut (leopard blood) and if I remember correctly the title in English is Slave to Sensation....soo they don´t have that much in common...I mean ok the book is about a leobard, but that´s all....

Yep. German titles seldomly make any sense, so Nalini's actually lucky that the books weren't titled something like "The Mysterious Pirate's Bride", but apart from that.. They won't give much away in regards of the story or the US title right now. Maybe once we've all READ the book, but..

OMG... thats definitely kaleb's story, he is supposed to have a tattoo which was mentioned in one of early books, may b e in mine to possess or hostage to pleasure....and its about time. ofcourse, according to plot it makes sense, if he is ghost he can use judd to reveal his identity to aiden and win arrow squad loyalty

You know, Kenji and Jem. What if they would mate, where would they move? They are both lieutenants in different sectors, Jem in LA and Kenji somwhere in the mountains? Who would give up his/her sector? And what if a female lieutanent gets pregnant, would someone else step in for her or would the other lieutantents cover her sector as well?

Ashleydevlin - The other German covers all featured heroes with marks/tattoos, so.. But I do hope it's Kaleb. Just always argumenting AGAINST what I want, because of reasons. XD

''My fingers are crossed'' really want it to be kaleb's story. i was reading TON again today and hawk was being told by one of his lieutenant that water changeling were uneasy about something and they were afraid of someone and perhaps that's why they are allying with SD. And i was thinking that in cover a seashore was shown, so may be they had sahara *presuming it is sahara whom kaleb found*. But if it sahara then we might see faith and DR again.

Ashleydevlin, I'm trying to remember what book there is a mention of Kaleb's tattoo . . . do you recall if there was any kind of description of it? I tend to agree with Patricia that if all the German covers had H's with tattoos that this one is just a red herring.
