OMG... thats definitely kaleb's story, he is supposed to have a tattoo which was mentioned in one of early books, may b e in mine to possess or hostage to pleasure....and its about time. ofcourse, according to plot it makes sense, if he is ghost he can use judd to reveal his identity to aiden and win arrow squad loyalty

You know, Kenji and Jem. What if they would mate, where would they move? They are both lieutenants in different sectors, Jem in LA and Kenji somwhere in the mountains? Who would give up his/her sector? And what if a female lieutanent gets pregnant, would someone else step in for her or would the other lieutantents cover her sector as well?

Ashleydevlin - The other German covers all featured heroes with marks/tattoos, so.. But I do hope it's Kaleb. Just always argumenting AGAINST what I want, because of reasons. XD

''My fingers are crossed'' really want it to be kaleb's story. i was reading TON again today and hawk was being told by one of his lieutenant that water changeling were uneasy about something and they were afraid of someone and perhaps that's why they are allying with SD. And i was thinking that in cover a seashore was shown, so may be they had sahara *presuming it is sahara whom kaleb found*. But if it sahara then we might see faith and DR again.

Ashleydevlin, I'm trying to remember what book there is a mention of Kaleb's tattoo . . . do you recall if there was any kind of description of it? I tend to agree with Patricia that if all the German covers had H's with tattoos that this one is just a red herring.

Bella, I wondered that too about Kenji and Jem. I think that Kenji has the San Gabriel Mts which aren't too far from L.A. At least that's what my memory tells me from the time I lived in L.A.

Somewhere in Bonds of Justice, I think. Kaleb's careful not to have anyone see it, it's on his arm, as far as I can remember. There is no description, just that there may be clues related to it in a scene that Enforcement had gone through.

Found it! The scene is in Branded by Fire.

Putting down the briefcase he'd carried in, Kaleb took off his suit jacket and removed his tie before opening the first few buttons on his shirt and rolling up his sleeves. He never did the latter while outside his home.

No one could be allowed to see the mark on his forearm. Most would have no idea what it meant. Perhaps no one would know. But the PsyNet was the biggest data archive in the world- he couldn't take the chance that someone, somewhere, knew the story behind the mark.

I don't really read too much into book covers, they rarely follow the proper character descriptions, so the bird tattoo could be nothing more but the fancy of the cover designer. Just look at the giraffe marks they've used in PoP's German cover...or Sienna's black hair in KoS's audio book.

But, for the sake of speculation...If the bird tattoo is a clue, then i'd say that it could indicate that the missing swan changeling could be the heroine. Or Adam could be the next hero...still, why the need for secrecy if it's going to be Adam?

We know too little about him as it is, and pre release info usually builds up interest for these 'unknowns', so when the book comes, it'd be easier to like these characters.
So I'm more convinced that book 12 will be about established characters, the ones that readers already love/are emotionally invested in.
Because it'd be foolish to waste the pre release 'tension' by not introducing an 'unknown' early, a reader tends to like a book more if they find the characters likeable as well, at least that's how it is for me.
And in an established/long running series where there are characters who already have their own followers, the risk of 'hating' the virtually unknown characters is higher, simply because he/she wasn't what the reader had expected/wanted.

Like me, I'm ready to go berserk if the book 12 hero turned out to be Bowen or Adam...or Barker! Gaaaahhhhh!!!

It would be amazing if the heroine was the swan changeling, unfortunatly I don't think she is. Maybe Kaleb the tattoo simbolizes the swan because it was an event that changed him, or maybe because he saw the swan's death... I don't know.....
I don't think it's a good thing to hide the couple in this book till the release date...Am I the only one that thinks like this?

hiding is never good, although on the other side the reader doesn´t build expectations if he doesn´t know...

Nalini has wrote on Twitter that ARCs for the next psy\changeling book are unlikely. All this secrecy about the next book is starting to get a bit grating.

It's Kaleb's book and Vasic is the ghost and his last name is Adelaja.
That is my theory and I stand by it.
Oh and Alice is Vasics HEA.

Just to go a fraction off-topic. This fight scene really reminds me of the Arrow squad. The psy-like powers, the deadish look in both the men's eyes, the completely black clothes.....

I like both the title and the cover.

Same artist as the GH series apparently and it has that same feel to it.

The H has to be Psy with that title. Kaleb or Aden or Vasic. We'll be speculating for months now lol . . . .
